Well done to the children who ran in the Fun Run on Tuesday 11th June at Mullion School.
A massive WELL DONE and CONGRATLATIONS to all of the children who ran for Landewednack in the 2023/24 Cross Country League.
Now that the season has finished for this school year, we were delighted to learn that Landewednack had finished in 5th place overall out of the 15 schools that had taken part.
In total we had 17 runners throughout the season and their individual and overall year group results are as follows:
Abigail - Year 3 (6 races) 9th /30
Oscar W - Year 3 (6 races) 5th /30
Bryher - Year 6 (6 races) 5th /31
Sonny - Year 6 (6 races) 5th / 26
Elizabeth – Year 5 (6 races) 13th /31
Emmie - Year 3 (5 races) 23rd /30
Toby M – Year 3 (4 races) 12th /30
Dexter – Year 3 (4 races) 14th /30
Lily M – Year 5 (4 races) 7th /31
Sienna – Year 5 (4 races) 8th /31
Rudy – Year 4 (3 races) – 17th /21
Aza – Year 5 (2 races) 17th /31
Alex – Year 5 (2 races) 18th /29
Kaitlyn – Year 5 (2 races) 19th /31
Benson – Year 5 (2 races) 21st /29
Zac – Year 5 (2 races) 22nd/29
Matilda – Year 4 (1 race)
A special mention also to Thalia, Luca and Arthur who all ran in the Key Stage 1 Fun Run too.
It has been another great season and I couldn’t have been prouder of the children after each race. Thank you to everyone who came and cheered the children on…sometimes braving the cold and wet weather in the process!
We look forward to doing it all over again when the new season begins again in September!
