Razorbills’ food technology

Razorbills have used seasonal autumn produce to design and create their own dessert product suitable for families. 

First, we sampled and evaluated crumble, smoothie and flapjack made with blackberries.
 
Then we practised food technology skills of weighing out ingredients and rolling, kneading and cutting to create different shapes with pastry.
We picked blackberries to use in our recipes, learned more about our local area, and pressed apples into juice.
